SP surveys have been deployed as a supplementary module for the Swiss census on a representation basis. They have been merged with RP data and evaluated with state of the art statistical methods. The national passenger traffic model (NPVM) shall be updated based on the new data and reveil a projection of travel behaviour, change of supply for motorized individual transport and public transport. The interdepencies between transportion, environment and energy shall be considerd, either.
