Project summary
This was a cooperative research project with the Modelling and Simulation group within the Traffic Division of Transport for the City of Zurich. It aimed at finding the best strategy to calibrate the VISSIM traffic model while suiting the specific needs and characteristics of the city of Zurich. As part of this project a new approach for the sensitivity analysis of computationally expensive simulation models was developed. In 2011 this project was selected as one spin-off of the new National Programme projects within the COST Action TU0903.
